Work Experience

Wg Cdr Arvind Kulkarni was commissioned in the Technical Branch of the Indian Air Force. During his tenure with the IAF spanning over 22 years, Arvind had the rare distinction as a Technical Officer to Command three different units, including one which he raised from scratch. The span of control during his Command tenure ranged from about 30 to 150 personnel and each of these tenures were diverse and challenging in terms of the Technical aspects and the work environment. Post his engagement with the IAF, Arvind worked as Head of Networking for an Internet Service Provider and also as Head of Technical Services for an IT training organisation.

Arvind has been associated with Pegasus since Jan 2002 and during this period has anchored a diverse set of interventions for participant groups ranging from School students to CEO’s of companies and from diverse set of Industry background. He has the ability to adapt his facilitation styles based on the target audience and uses his work experience to easily relate with the Client organisations. He has successfully designed and conducted an intervention for the CEO’s of nine different organisations and also an intervention for Joint Secretary level Officers from the Indian Administrative Services. He is one of the Lead Assessors in the Assessment and Development Center at Pegasus.

Significant Achievements

Arvind is fairly skilled at facilitating programs at different levels though his strength clearly lies in Leadership programs and Assessment Center. He is adept at playing around with numbers and uses this in analysing and interpreting data collected from a wide range of Instruments used in Pegasus.

Future interests

His future areas of interest are in trying to design a suitable Instrument to measure the Return on Investment for the nature of interventions that Pegasus engages in.

Qualification

Arvind has done his M Tech from IIT, Kanpur, in Controls Systems. In addition he has successfully done the Basic Lab conducted by ISABS in the area of Human Behaviour processing. He has also attended a course on Instruments in HRD by Mr Udai Pareek conducted by NHRD at IIM, Ahmedabad.
