Work Experience

Prior to joining Pegasus, he was an Asst. Vice President with ABB India Ltd., based out of Bangalore. With an overall industry experience of 27 years, he was with them for about 22 years serving in various capacities spanning engineering, project management, product management, and sales and marketing. He has been an internal trainer for many initiatives.

Having been a serial participant at Pegasus, he is deeply impacted by the methodology used by Pegasus and carries many of the learnings over the years. One of the reasons he chose Pegasus as his next career step is because he believes that it is a job where on a Sunday evening you look forward to being at work on a Monday morning.

Post-ABB, he spent a year doing what he describes as “all that I wanted to do but could not do”

Interests

Prakash firmly believes that the ancient epics like Mahabharata and Ramayana hold much information on complex human behaviour, interpersonal relationships, strategy and lessons on leadership that are valid for eternity. He hopes to study and work on these.

He is a self-confessed outdoor person and loves trekking, and other adventure sports. An amateur wildlife photographer still honing his skills with the box, he loses no opportunity to ‘shoot the birds’.

Prakash has speaking fluency in 5 languages English, Hindi, Marathi, Kannada and Kutchi (a dialect of Gujarati) and understands Gujarati, Tamil and Bengali.

Qualification

He is a BE (Electrical Engineering) from Mumbai University and holds a PGDBA degree in Marketing & Operations from K J Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research, Mumbai.
