Manikandan is an accomplished Sales and Operations professional with over 3 decades of experience in India and abroad. He began his Sales Career with Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd in 1989 and later worked in leading Indian MNCs like NIIT, Reliance Communication and his last assignment was with IBM India Pvt. Ltd where he completed 15 years.
At NIIT, he successfully managed the Non-Metro Franchise Business in bother Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. He managed the Franchise Business for over 30 Career Education centres in each State. He was involved with the Kerala Govt for the IT@School Program and promoting the concept to most of the States run Govt Schools. He was also instrumental in launching and establishing the NIIT@School Program across Tamil Nadu.
At IBM, Mani was managing the International Sales Operations for Software Group and later was the India/SA SPoC for supporting Global Customers doing Business in India. Responsible for developing and leading a global sales and sales support organization focused on the non-Headquarter business of multinational clients. The goal – to develop the blueprint, deploy the organizational strategy and then lead a global team of sales and sales support professionals. Additionally defined organizational job roles and responsibilities, sales metrics & challenges, development of internal programs using agile processes and delivering the international go to market sales approach.
Mani completed his Schooling in one of India’s most reputed Boarding Schools, Rishi Valley School and his B. Com Graduation from Ramakrishna Mission Vivekanand College affiliated to Madras University.
