Work Experience

Girish was Colonel in the Indian Army before joining Pegasus where he was holding leadership positions in diverse roles, managing people, warlike equipment and related logistics in VUCA situations.  The organisation he was heading was twice awarded ‘Unit Citation’ – an award at the highest level for the professional excellence – in Counter Insurgency Operational Area and in Kargil – Drass Sectors. Girish too was recognised for ‘distinguished service of an exceptional order’ and was awarded ‘Vishisht Seva Medal’ by The President of India.

At Pegasus, he has been engaged in a multitude of people, team and organisation development interventions during the 11 plus years as a Consultant – Process Facilitator. His people skills from the Army, business understanding from XLRI, experiential learning and OD workshops at Pegasus, certifications in MBTI and other Psychometric Instruments help him conduct programs ranging from capacity building for senior leaders to MDPs for mid-level managers, ADCs for those with potential, alignment of  trade union members and integration of young associates belonging to PSUs, government and private sector organisations across the business / industry.

He works closely with diverse institutions and organisations like IIM (B), SIBM, Aurigene, Biocon, Times of India (BCCL), ECIL, Flipkart, Harman, ITC, Microsoft, Murugappa, Phoenix, Samsung, SCCL, Titan etc. His efforts and contributions have led Biocon-Bristol Myers Squib Research Center (BBRC) to recognise Pegasus as the best learning partner in 2013 and other organisations in partnering with Pegasus over the years.

He believes in motivation through people development and helping people realise their potential. He enjoys nature and supports environmental aspects.
